🎨 DHV Artworks Summer Art Camp Series
For Kids Ages 8–12
Location: DHV Artworks | 2835 Irving Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207
Let your child’s creativity soar this summer! Each week at DHV Artworks, young artists will explore different materials and techniques while creating fun, imaginative artwork. Taught by artists Deborah Hartigan, Roman Rodriguez and Jill Getman, this is a hands-on, inspiring experience for budding creators of all skill levels.
🕘 Camp Hours: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
💧 What to Bring:
Each camp focuses on different mediums, is hands-on with 3 instructors and includes all art supplies, plenty of inspiration and fun. Please send your child with a healthy snack, DHV will have fruit and water available, and in clothes that are designed to get messy!
Cost: $295 per child for 5 day workshop
Class Size: Minimum 8 students / Maximum 12 students

Please note that space is limited to 12 campers per session and a minimum of 8 campers must be enrolled by 4 weeks prior to commencement of session. In the event that the minimum enrollment is not met, a full refund will be issued. There will be a $25 fee for any cancellations, and there will be no refunds for cancellations made less than four weeks prior to the camp start date.

June 16 - June 20
KIDS PAINT LAB
Throughout the week, kids will explore oil pastels, watercolor, and acrylic paint through fun, hands-on activities. They'll learn:
🎨 How each medium works
🌈 How to mix colors using the color wheel
🖼️ Step-by-step guidance on creating artwork from visual inspiration
By the end of the week, each student will have completed a beautiful final painting to take home and be proud of!
June 23 - June 27
CLAY CREATURES CAMP
In this imaginative workshop, kids will design, sketch, and sculpt their own original creatures! Using clay hand-building and carving techniques, they’ll bring their ideas to life in 3D.
By the end of the week, each student will paint and finish their one-of-a-kind creature sculpture—an exciting blend of creativity and craftsmanship!
July 14 - July 18
MY FLAG, MY STORY
Campers will dive into their own family heritage and world cultures through the vibrant language of flags. Kids will research their backgrounds, learn about different countries and symbols, and then create unique collage flags representing their own stories, values, or roots.
We’ll use paper, fabric, mixed media, and a variety of textures to bring these personal emblems to life!

By the end of the week, each student will have a custom flag to take home—full of meaning, color, and pride 🏡🎉🎏.
July 21 - July 25
CRYSTAL TREASURE WORKSHOP
Discover the magic of crystals and minerals in this hands-on art and nature workshop! Kids will explore real crystal treasures, learn their meanings, and turn them into one-of-a-kind mixed-media art boards using paint and natural textures.
Each day blends creativity, Earth science , and storytelling ending with a mini gallery show to celebrate their creations!
