“I paint imaginary worlds where the boundary between reality and imagination fades, giving rise to new, vibrant dimensions.  By merging my experience in abstract and representational styles with my diverse cultural background, I create narratives that celebrate self-expression and cultural identity.  My process involves experimenting with unconventional techniques and materials such as pouring medium, metallic elements, paste, gouache, collage papers, and loose canvas to craft intriguing and imaginative places that invite exploration and curiosity. The inclusion of metallic elements and patterns pays homage to my Indian heritage and upbringing along the Mexican border.

Nature serves as a recurring theme in my work, offering endless inspiration and creative possibilities.  The countless hours I spend immersed in painting allow me to focus on a subject matter that sparks joy, fostering a deep connection to my art.  Above all, I aim to infuse my work with playfulness, experimentation, and cultural appreciation, as this approach fuels my passion for returning to the easel, pushing my boundaries, and evolving as an artist.”
